Tom Brady free agency odds: Smart money has Brady signing with Chargers or Colts

The Panthers own the second-best odds to sign Brady, probably because Josh McDaniels was slated to interview for their head coaching job. But with former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule getting the gig, those odds should now decrease significantly.

On the field, the Panthers are an attractive option. Christian McCaffrey is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the league, and Greg Olsen is an elite tight end. With Cam Newton battling injuries, he no longer possesses a grip on the starting job.

But with McDaniels not landing with the Panthers, it’s hard to imagine Brady playing out his NFL career in Carolina blue. The market does not appear to be a fit.
