OBJ x Nike Air Max 720 “Young King of the People” Gets a Release Date

After almost 2 months, the previously-named “Desert Ore” iteration of Odell Beckham Jr. and Nike’s Air Max 720 collaboration is releasing on Nike SNKRS.

In contrast to his first Air Max 720 collaboration, Odell Beckham Jr. keeps the design much more muted on the mixed-material upper. The nude and tan color scheme is inspired by the sand dunes in Egypt and Louisiana, with Egyptian hieroglyphic-inspired graphics featuring on the heel and insoles of the shoe. The relatively busy upper, with its leather and suede overlays pays tribute to turf models from the 1990’s.
