26. Miami Dolphins

Some may view the Miami Dolphins 7-9 season as a disappointment, considering they started 3-0, but the fact is, expectations were really low for Miami this year and in a lot of ways they exceeded those expectations.

Which is why it was so puzzling that they chose to let go of third-year head coach Adam Gase.

The one positive for the Dolphins future is that they have a defense littered with young talent. Minkah Fitzpatrick proved to be just as good in the NFL in his rookie year as he was at Alabama. The Dolphins also have Raekwon McMillan and Jerome Bakers who both join Fitzpatrick as young studs that are 23 years old or younger.

Let’s not forget their first-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard, who is just 25 years old. By firing Gase, and likely moving on from incumbent quarterback Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins are clearly starting over but at least they have some pieces to build around.
