LeBron James On Eventually Passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar In The All Time Scoring List

James still has one thing to deliver to this Lakers organization. The records are impressive and they will help define his legacy, but the championship banners are what matters. James will never pass Kobe as one of the greatest Lakers of all-time because Kobe delivered 5 championships — something LeBron is highly unlikely to do purely because of his age.

There’s no doubt that James’ primary focus is centered around leading his Los Angeles Lakers back to the promised land, and win his 4th NBA championship with his 3rd different team, something that would prove the haters wrong once it’s all said and done.

James is having quite the impressive season for a 35-year-old who is playing in his 17th season. As mentioned earlier, he is averaging 25.3 points per game, to go along with 7.7 rebounds and 10.9 assists, where he is currently leading the league in that category.
