Jaylen Brown’s Abscess Sent Him To The Hospital 5 Times

The Boston Celtics have missed Jaylen Brown for over a week due to an “illness.”

However, the illness wasn’t a cold, or a flu, it was an abscess. Before returning to the court Thursday night against the Hornets, Brown detailed how painful and downright gross this abscess was.

Brown’s abscess, which eventually became infected was located on the inside of his leg. The infection caused Brown to have a fever which then led him to go to the hospital on 5 separate occasions to get his abscess drained.

In case you were wondering, an abscess is a swollen “a collection of pus that has built up within the tissue of the body.”
