Houston Rockets: James Harden Drops 47 Over Clippers While Sick

The Houston Rockets’ most dangerous weapon is James Harden, and last night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, recorded 47 points — while sick.

Each game against the Clippers is a challenging one as they have reigning Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard, but James Harden makes it look easy.

It comes to no surprise that Harden is one of the league’s most offensive scoring threats, but as he dropped 47 points on Leonard’s Clippers — he was also battling sickness, and even joked after the game by comparing it to Michael Jordan’s infamous “flu game.”

Harden also recorded six rebounds, and seven assists. He was 12-of-26 from the field, 7-of-13 from three-point land, and 16-of-17 from the free-throw line. It was certainly an overall impressive performance.

The Rockets are now on a 5-game winning streak. Their record is 8-3, are they are sitting in second place in the western conference, one game behind the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Rockets next game will come on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. Hopefully, Harden will be feelings better, but even if not, we can evidently still expect a brilliant performance from the former MVP.
