Dunk League Volume 3: ‘IMPOSSIBLE Low Rim Dunks’

On last week’s episode of Dunk League, we got to see some of the best athletes in the world soar in the sky to show “How High” they could raise the rim before no longer being able to flush home a clean dunk.

There were no style points with that competition, as the only thing that mattered was getting the ball in the hop at those high heights. This week, instead of seeing how high these contestants can dunk, we get to see how flashy they can get when showcasing their athleticism on a nine-foot rim.

“High Flying at 9”

This week’s competition raises the stakes, as two of the eight remaining dunkers will be sent packing.

Each contestant gets five attempts to showcase dunks that could never be made on a regulation rim. Just like in previous weeks, the dunkers will be judged and the person with the highest score takes home $5,000.

Each week, scores will accumulate for these dunkers, as they all look to be the last man standing and earn the grand prize of $20,000.

The three dunkers with the lowest cumulative score at the end of this competition will enter a dunk-off to see who can survive and advance to next week.

Last week, in the “How High” episode, Jonathan Clark took home the $5,000 prize, while newcomer CJ Champion was the first dunker eliminated in this year’s competition. .

Here is how the leaderboard looked heading into Week 3 of the Dunk League:

With two more dunkers about to be sent home, the stakes have never been higher for these competitors in their path to become the next “King of Dunk”.
