Colin Kaepernick Wanted “Exorbitant” Salary To Play In XFL

Kaepernick made over $40 million in his six NFL seasons, so the money the XFL would have paid him would not have even come close to what he wanted. The average salary of an XFL player is roughly $55,000.

Kaepernick has said time and time again that he still wants to play football and even worked out for a number of NFL teams in November. However, the 32-year-old still remains a free agent.
