Celtics Fan Receives Ban Until 2020 For Calling Demarcus Cousins The N-Word
According to a report from Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, a Celtics fan has been banned for the remainder of this season, and next season for calling DeMarcus Cousins the n-word when the Warriors played in Boston in January.

The game took place on January 26. The fan reportedly “muttered the n-word” to Cousins during the Warriors-Celtics game on January 26. Cousins immediately “informed one of [Boston’s] security guys,” and arena security “took care of the fan.”
This decision by the NBA comes a few weeks after the league decided to ban a Utah Jazz fan for life after his heckling of Russell Westbrook during a game.
