Caron Butler Has Street Named After Him In Hometown

After Butler’s success on the basketball court in high school, and college, it was almost time for him to turn professional.

Five years earlier, Butler was on the streets of Racine, selling drugs, and now he was about to become a multi-millionaire, doing what he loves.

As David Stern said on draft night, “The Miami Heat have selected Connecticut Huskies forward Caron Butler with the 10th overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft.”
