Caron Butler Has Street Named After Him In Hometown

As Butler was sick, with a throw-up bucket in his reach, he was shocked as the police busted in his home in an attempt to find drugs.

Officer Rick Geller obtained a search warrant, and immediately went over to Butler’s house. With Butler’s criminal history, Geller thought this was going to be an easy bust.

Butler’s dreams of playing basketball were not going to be destroyed by some law enforcement officer.

With tears in his eyes, and burns on his hands from his job at Burger King, Butler explained that he was definitely clean, and whoever called to the police to his house had made a false call.

Officer Rick Geller did not charge Butler with a crime.
