18. He Didn’t Receive Many D1 Offers
Despite averaging 27 points per game with 11 rebounds per game his senior year, Dwyane was not a sought-after basketball player by most D1 programs. In fact; Wade only received offers from DePaul University, Illinois State, and Marquette University. Most universities were skeptical to make an offer to Dwyane because he was a poor student. Dwyane eventually lead Marquette to the Final Four in 2003.
