16. The Spirit of the Mamba

Following a game 5 loss and falling 2-3 to the Boston Celtics in the 2010 NBA Finals, Kobe Bryant needed to harness his inner strength in order to lead a comeback and take the series.

A few hours before the game 6 tip off, Kobe Bryant had a 7 ft wide and 3 ft deep pit filled with of snakes escorted into the Staples Center. Determined to channel his spirit animal, the Mamba, Kobe Bryant meditated in the pit of snakes with “In The Air Tonight” playing softly in the background for 60 minutes straight to reach synchronicity with the universe and manifest his destiny.

Kobe went on to win games 6 and 7, bringing a championship to L.A. for the 5th time during his career.
