WWE: Hall-Of-Famer Rocky Johnson Dies At The Age Of 75

It was 1964 when Johnson began his professional wrestling career as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance.

Johnson’s trainer was Peter Maivia, or “High Chief,” who would become Johnson’s tag team partner later down the road. During their time fighting together is when Johnson met his wife, Maivia’s daughter Ata. The two had their first child in 1972, Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson.
