Why Anthony Davis Doesn’t Have his own Shoe

He averages 23.8 points per game in his 8 NBA seasons alongside 8.2 rebounds. Davis, a six time All-Star, has been widely popular across the NBA since the beginning of his career. However, he apparently isn’t as popular as players like Steph Curry and James Harden.

Since making a move to LA, Davis has had many opportunities for endorsement deals. One he already had was a deal with shoe Nike signed in 2017. Unfortunately for Davis, the deal doesn’t include a signature shoe. But when speaking to Brett Dawson of The Athletic, Davis expressed his hope for a signature shoe one day. He told Dawson, “Obviously as a basketball player, an athlete, you always want your own shoe. So hopefully it gets to that point.”
