Maddux was the best pitcher in baseball from 1992 to 1995, winning four straight NL Cy Young Awards. During those years, Maddux had a 75-29 record with a 1.99 ERA. Known for his pinpoint control, Maddux allowed less than one baserunner per inning during his those Cy Young years.
