The rise of Domantas Sabonis from an afterthought in his rookie season, to becoming a rising star has been a two-year process.

Sabonis began his ascent once he was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Indiana Pacers last season.

Now Sabonis is averaging 14.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game so far this season and he is a huge reason the Pacers have jumped out to a 22-12 start.
