17. Javier Baez
Javier Baez had shown plenty of flashes of being a two-way star in the past, but this year he finally put it all together.
Baez led the National League in runs batted in with 111, on his way to winning his first Silver Slugger. Baez also hit 34 home runs and had 83 extra-base hits. He ended up becoming the Cubs best player and finished second in the MVP voting.
