The Lakers Can Win The 2020 NBA Championship Due To A Strange Bylaw

The team with the best record AFTER February 1st will be crowned champs. This is how the Lakers will be NBA champions. If the champs were to be decided on overall records, the Bucks would get the nod.

Nevertheless, the NBA is actively working towards a solution that will allow players to play postseason basketball. Even if that means no fans in attendance and shortened series. Besides, no athlete (maybe a few) wants to be handed a trophy without truly earning it.

Our money is on Adam Silver and the league officials finding a better solution, but resulting in this bylaw is, unfortunately, a likely possibility. Except it’s not a possibility at all.
