Steve Kerr Is “Almost Embarrassed” About Promo Graphic For “The Last Dance”

Considering that Kerr has been in the Finals for the past five seasons as the Golden State Warriors’ head coach, he’s a pretty recognizable guy by now.

However, The Last Dance is not about the Golden State Warriors or Kerr’s time as a head coach. It’s about the Chicago Bulls team that won championships together.

Maybe Kerr didn’t deserve to be on the promotional graphic, but in the world of social media marketing, it was inevitable.

Regardless of whether Kerr did or did not deserve to be on the graphic, two very critical and memorable players were left forgotten. Let’s put it this way — the team probably would have still won without Kerr, and they probably would not have won without Kukoc and Harper.

The graphic was not misleading in any way, other than painting Kerr as a more important piece to the team than he actually was. At the end of the day, basketball is a team sport, and Kerr was a part of their team.
