Pelicans Trying To Teach Zion How To Run And Walk Differently

Williamson has been out since the start of the regular season started after undergoing surgery on the torn meniscus in his right knee. According to a new report by ESPN, the team is trying to re-teach him how to walk and run differently — working on the kinetic chain of his body.

Williamson told ESPN that he is ready to play, but he trusts the Pelicans’ recover plan for him. Although there is no set timetable for his return, Williamson has participated in shooting and group drills. He has not done any 5-on-5 or 3-on-3 drills as the Pelicans are being as cautious as possible.
