NBA ROY: Obi Toppin

Although James Wiseman definitely has a chance as Rookie of the Year, Obi Toppin of the New York Knicks is the player with the best chance. Easily the most accomplished and ready prospect in this year’s draft, Toppin only fell to No.8 because he is 22. On a terrible team like the Knicks, Toppin will most likely be handed the keys and told to lead this flagging franchise out of a self-dug hole. It is likely that he could average 15+ points this season, and he should win the Rookie of the Year.
