NBA Defensive Player of The Year: Anthony Davis

Although Giannis Antetokounmpo is the reigning Defensive Player of The Year, and it is likely that his performances won’t drop noticeably, it is definitely possible that AD’s performances improve enough to give him his first ever individual award. The arrival of Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder to the Lakers will also help Davis contribute more on the defensive end, which could help him become Defensive Player of The Year.
