Nathan Bain Sees GoFundMe Skyrocket Over $30K After Game

For anyone who thinks that him receiving money due to his play is an NCAA violation, it was actually the school’s athletic department who launched the fundraiser on September 17 to help his family recover.

Before the game-winner, the family had only received a total of $2,010 from 26 donors, and no one had donated in more than a month.

After the game-winner, however, more than 950 donors had donated in a matter of hours.

This should keep Bain in good spirits, and ready to roll on their next game Saturday against the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
