Michael Jordan Once Turned Down $100 Million for a 2-hour appearance

“I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million. All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make one two-hour appearance to announce the deal, and he turned it down. God bless him. He’s been so successful. It gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want. I really admire that. He’s very, very selective in the things he wants to be involved in.”

Falk proceeded to talk about the other sweet deals Jordan turned down. Michael Jordan was in Asia a few years ago for a Hornets preseason game when he was offered $7 million to play in a golf tournament.

David Falk didn’t disclose what brands and organizations made these offers to Michael Jordan.

LeBron James is expected to be the next athlete to join the billionaire ranks. However, he’s not quite in the position yet to nonchalantly turn down $100,000,000.
