Miami Heat: Dion Waiters Faces Suspension For Calling In Sick

As a result of his actions, Waiters will be sidelined for a suspension that runs through December 23rd.

Waiters has been on the trading block since last Christmas, but with his behavior, it’s been making things for the Heat rather difficult.

“No one was trying to take him on,” an unnamed general manager told Heavy’s Sean Deveney. “He has had just kind of junk attached to him just about his whole career.”

According to the Herald, Waiters’ antics have only intensified the Heat’s desire to move Waiters and they are ready to fight an uphill battle to get him off of their roster.
