Sources claim that Waiters called in sick, then posted a picture of him chilling on a boat to Instagram — real smart.

While the boat situation was a contributing factor, the suspension is also a result of repeat offenses by Waiters. According to insiders, Dion has committed “more than a half dozen team violations” this season.

The offenses include one earlier this season where Waiters suffered a panic attack on a plane after taking a THC gummy. Another offense was a social media tirade against head coach Erik Spoelstra and Waiters’ refusal to participate in team weigh-ins.
