During a recent ESPN interview, Garrett claimed that Rudolph had called him “a stupid N-word” during the fight causing Garrett to lose mind control and taking Rudolph’s helmet off, then proceeding to hit him on the head with it.

Rudolph immediately took to Twitter to defend himself, and said that Garrett’s comments were “1000% False,” and a “Bold-Faced Lie.” Rudolph proceeded to say that he would never do such a thing and accused Garrett of attempting to assassinate his character:

“I did not, have not, and would not utter a racial-slur. This is a disgusting and reckless attempt to assassinate my character.”
