Kent State Provides 193 Students In LeBron James Program With Free Tuition

Kent State surprised the 193 recipients by telling them that they were simply going on a tour of the campus. However, once they arrived in a lecture hall, the students were asked to reach under their seats, where they could find a life-changing envelope.

Inside the mystery envelope were papers that described in detail the four years of free tuition and one year of free room and board if they chose to attend Kent State University.

The surprise was recorded by the university, and like expected, the students were overwhelmed with joy by the reveal. The students’ teachers were watching the announcement via live-stream at a separate location.
