Jason Witten Could Be Considered As Next Cowboys Head Coach

There’s no doubt that Witten has what it takes in terms of inspiration and determination, but this would be a huge step for him. However, I really don’t see how it could hurt their organization at this point. There have been multiple reports that the entire Cowboys’ coaching staff was fired, but nothing has yet been ruled official.

There’s a strong possibility that Witten could be their next coach. After all, he dodged the question completely when being asked. He could have said “Sure, someday down the road maybe” or something with that effect, but instead walked out of the room. Why would he do that? Has he already had a possible talk with Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones?

To be honest, Jones has made his name for himself by making some of the most absurd moves in sports. So why not add elevating his tight end to head coach on the list?
