Jameis Winston Undergoes LASIK Eye Surgery After 30 Interceptions

The Buccaneers went 7-9 last season, finishing third in a weak NFC South.

Rumors have been circulating about possible replacement quarterbacks for the Buccaneers, including free agents Tom Brady and Philip Rivers. Unfortunately for Winston, it’s not only his job with the Buccaneers that he has to worry about losing, but it’s also about him being able to get a job with any team at this point.

According to Bleacher Report, Spotrac.com’s Market Value tool projects Winston could sign for four years, $107.1 million or $26.7 million per year.

It’s possible that his improved eyesight bumps that number up a little bit, or maybe it doesn’t — only time will tell. Let’s still not forget the fact that Winston did make himself a number one draft pick — with poor eyesight — and spent five years in the NFL as a quarterback before going through with LASIK eye surgery. That alone is something to be impressed about.
