Floyd Mayweather Coming Out Of Retirement In 2020

The UFC former world champion, Floyd Mayweather, stated that he will be coming out of retirement in 2020.

Mayweather announced his coming out of retirement on Instagram, where he stated he was working with UFC boss Dana White to “bring the world another spectacular event.”

Mayweather is considered one of boxing’s all-time greats as he is undefeated, finishing his career with a record of 50-0.

The last time Mayweather came out of retirement was in 2017, when he went against UFC star Conor McGregor.

After defeating McGregor, a rematch in the octagon was suggested, but nothing ever materialized from that.

Mayweather was last seen in the ring in an exhibition boxing match against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

The fight lasted around 140 seconds, and Mayweather earned $9 million for defeating the Japanese fighter.

In October, Philippines boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Alibaba founder Jack Ma challenged Mayweather to a fight, per source.

Pacquiao stated:

“Floyd Mayweather, if you want a real fight, fight me. If you want an exhibition, my guy, my friend, Jack Ma will take care of you,”
