Dwyane Wade Explains His 9-Score In The NBA Dunk Contest

Wade received a lot of criticism for handing Gordon a nine-score for his final dunk, leaving Gordon and his supporters in grieving disappointment. However, what Wade said was accurate; Gordon didn’t completely clear Tacko Fall. Plus, Wade was not the only judge to give Gordon a nine for that last dunk. He was also joined by Chadwick Boseman and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.

The reason the fans backlashed Wade is that he was once teammates with Jones Jr., leading others to believe that he was biased and should have not been a judge in the contest.

Some NBA players and fans still believe that Gordon was robbed of a Dunk Contest Championship, along with Gordon himself, who said that he would never again compete in another NBA Dunk Contest.
