Dunk League Volume 3: ONE DUNK For A Chance At $50,000

On last week’s episode of Dunk League, we got to see how far the greatest dunkers in the world could go in, “Going the Distance“.

In that competition, the Dunk League contestants were not only judged for their creativity, but also for how far away from the hoop they could dunk. There was plenty of spectacular dunks that left the judges in awe, but Jordan Kilganon took home the win with the furthest dunk and the $5,000 prize that came with it.

Jonathan Clark was still the top dunker on the leaderboard though when it came to his cumulative score through the first five weeks of the competition, securing him the first spot in the Dunk League Volume 3 semi-final.

Kilganon had to beat Dan Gross and Isaiah River in a dunk-off to secure his place in the sem-final, but did so with ease slamming home his off-the-backboard dunk on his first attempt.

Kilganon and Clarke are now resting up, while this week brings back all the eliminated dunkers for one last chance to earn their own ticket next to them in the Dunk League semi-final.

Redemption Round

Every dunker that has been eliminated up to this point in the competition is back this week, with one last chance to prove why they belong in the running for the title of “King of Dunk”.

The rules of the redemption round are simple, it’s “Dunker’s Choice”. Every dunker bring the best dunk they have to the table and they have three attempts to flush it home. Whoever has the top score, moves on. The rest of the competitors will be eliminated for good.

The stakes could not be any higher, as the grand prize is so close and still up for the taking.
