Donald Sterling Documentary Will Air On May 11th

In April 2014, TMZ exposed Sterling as a racist by a taped phone call with his ex-girlfriend. Sterling stated that he did not want her associating with people of the African-American culture or bringing them to Clippers games.

Directed by Michael Jacobs, the series is to be titled, “Blackballed.” This Donald Sterling documentary will feature all types of interviews, such as people who were part of the Clippers during the Sterling days, and some who are part of the Clippers now.

Some of the faces we will see in the interviews include Chris Paul, Doc Rivers, Deandre Jordan, JJ Reddick, and Adam Silver. The NBA affiliates will examine the racial tensions in our country alongside sports, and how the two can intervene together.

“Blackballed” will air May 11th on Quibi.
