Bradley Beal recently liked this tweet, revealing that he is ready to leave the capital for South Beach.
The Miami Heat likely want Beal just as bad. They inquired on the possibility of a trade for Beal with the Wizards earlier this offseason.
As a top defensive team that has lacked offense over the last 2 seasons, Bradley Beal and the Miami Heat are an ideal match. Beal will play for a team that can actually compete for an NBA finals appearance, and the Heat can add a much needed missing piece.
Last season the Heat were disappointing on offense to say the least. They had a lousy offensive ranking of 106.7, finishing 26th out of the 30 NBA teams according to NBA advanced stats.
In addition, productivity from the guards were at an all-time low for Miami. The collective offensive rating for Miami Heat guards was the 4th lowest in the NBA with a 28.9 offensive rating.
That said, the Miami Heat signed Jimmy Butler to add the scoring power the Heat desperately needed, but adding Beal will give the Heat a one-two punch most teams will have difficulty competing with.
