Of course, the Lakers squad that Iverson had to go against in the Finals was dominant. However, he may have made a huge mistake showing his elite talents to Bryant. Because of this, Bryant was able to defend him in that series. This did not stop Iverson from being an elite scorer in that series, though.

Iverson averaged 35.6 points in that series, and had 38 in Game 1. The dynamic duo of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal was just a force not to be reckoned with, and no team stood a chance of defeating this team.

The series was over in 5 games, but it was fun watching Iverson and Bryant go against each other. Two elite talents that will go down in the NBA history books forever, and be remembered for years to come.
