Allen Iverson Dropped 41 On Kobe But Never Happened Again

Iverson and Bryant both came out of the 1996 NBA Draft, and quickly became villains as both had the drive to make the league theirs.

Other than the meetings in the regular season, their most famous battle came in 2001 when Iverson’s Philadelphia 76ers took on Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal’s Los Angeles Lakers squad in the NBA Finals.

The Lakers brought home the championship, and one key reason they did is because of the fact that Kobe studied every move of Iverson after he dropped 41 on him in a game during 1991.
