After missing out on the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, should the Jets Keep Darnold or draft Fields?

The Jets are currently sitting at #2 in the upcoming NFL Draft. The NFL’s laughing stock this season finished 2-14 finishing a game better than the 1-15 Jaguars. The Jets will be missing out on star QB Trevor Lawrence The Jets fired Adam Gase which is no surprise and hired 49ers Defensive Coordinator Robert Salah to be the teams next Head Coach.

But a big question remains, do you still take Justin Fields at #2 after losing out on Lawrence? Sam Darnold has showed little promise for the jets since being drafted in 2018. Granted, the Jets did not build a good team around him. The Jets can not flop with this #2 pick or they’ll be setting themselves back another 2-3 years.
