Will Carson Wentz be the quarterback of the Eagles next year? If the Eagles want to move on, here are some teams interested.

Carson Wentz is in serious danger of being benched. His team is currently 3-7-1 with him under center, while Wentz is ranked 27th in QBR. He has 14 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions. Let’s not forget about the 10 fumbles he’s had this season either.

The Eagles are going to have to evaluate their roster from top to bottom and it will start with their quarterback. Jalen Hurts was drafted by the Eagles in 2nd round of this year’s draft after a terrific college season. If the Eagles want to move on, here are some teams who will be ready to trade for him.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts signed Phillip Rivers to a 1-year $25 million dollar deal in the offseason and currently has the Colts sitting at a strong 7-3 record. However, if the team does not make the playoffs or gets in and get knocked out early, Phillip Rivers may not be brought back by the Colts. The Head Coach of the Colts Frank Reich has a strong tie with Carson Wentz as the offensive coordinator of the Eagles during his MVP caliber season in 2017.

San Francisco 49ers

Ever since his Super Bowl run last year, Jimmy Garoppolo has trended in the wrong direction. His offense is got a lot stronger this year and he still has not lived up to his potential. He has also been injured twice this season and now the 49ers are dead last in NFC West. Would trading for Carson Wentz create dynamic offense for the 49ers?
