Zion Williamson Injury Update & More
While Zion’s knee injury is not a severe one, he has been ruled out for the season opener and will likely miss at least a couple of weeks from the start of the regular season.
Zion suffered the mild-moderate right knee injury during a preseason game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Although this injury appears to be nothing too serious, it’s still a bummer for NBA & Pelicans fans. Zion has had by far the best preseason out of the players in his draft class. The 1st overall pick averaged 23.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, while shooting 71.4% from the floor (or air) in only 27.3 minutes per game; revealing what most of us already knew, incredible potential.
