Will the Lakers be Historically Good?

When asked if he thinks this team can be historically good, NBA Superstar LeBron James responded, “I’m the last person you can ask a question like that. I live too much in the moment. All I care about is what we did tonight and how we can get better tomorrow.” He added, “It’s going to be a good road trip for us. Starts in Orlando.”

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been key for the Lakers’ success this season. Just this Sunday, the two combined for 82 points alone in the Lakers’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the game before that, the duo combined for 70 points alone, in another win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

After Sunday’s game, the Lakers tweeted “LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the first pair of Lakers teammates to combine for 70+ points in consecutive games since Kobe and Shaq in March 2003.”
