Then again neither is life, so why should basketball be any different? The ironic part is all the catalysts behind the rapid spread of hysteria about Cousins signing with Golden State failed to realize no other NBA teams made Cousins an offer during the 2018 offseason. The league unknowingly handed the Warriors a title this season.

Cousins is a perfect fit for this team; he can spread the floor with his shooting, he will fit in as a natural and skilled passer, and he’s a dynamic rebounder they’ve been in dire need for. While nothing is set in stone, I wouldn’t bet on any other team taking home the trophy in 2019.
