Why the Warriors Will 3-Peat

Klay Thompson erupted for 52 points as he set the regular season record for most triples made in a half (10) and in a game (14) Golden State Warriors - 149 Klay Thompson - 52pts 5rebs 1stl Stephen Curry - 23pts 8rebs 5asts 3stls 1blk Alfonzo McKinnie - 19pts 10rebs 1ast 1blk Quinn Cook - 16pts 2rebs 1ast Kevin Durant - 14pts 3rebs 8asts 1stl 1blk Draymond Green - 3pts 6rebs 11asts 3blks Chicago Bulls - 124 Zach Lavine - 21pts 6rebs 2asts 2stls 1blk Antonio Blakeney - 21pts 2rebs 1ast Wendell Carter Jr - 18pts 7rebs 4asts Jabari Parker - 15pts 9rebs 6asts 1blk Cameron Payne - 15pts 3rebs 2asts 1blk Shaquille Harrison - 13pts 4rebs 3asts 2stls -Drive&Scoop

Many believe this is a reason why the Warriors will collapse this year. Some think the free agency sweepstakes will cause a cancerous distraction in the locker-room and it will eventually boil over on the court. However, everyone on the team is familiar with the nature of this business, so it’s naïve to think that this would be a cause to the Dubs demise.

KD and especially Klay have incentives to play at their best this postseason, both athletes want to attract the biggest contract offers as possible. If Kevin Durant checks out of playoff games, and Klay plays apathetic, their pockets will take a hit. Also, this will probably be the last opportunity either of these players will have to 3-Peat, odds are they’ll rise to the occasion.
