Washington Wizards: Will John Wall Return This Season?

Wall is a five-time All-Star and he averaged 20.7 points, 8.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 32 games last season. Wall’s “supermax” contract kicked in this season with the annual salary starting at $37.8 million.

Wall is already playing some 1-on-1 games with assistant coaches, and their head coach, Scott Brooks, will not completely rule out a return for him this season.

“It’s not like we’re shutting him down and focusing on the 2020/2021 season. It’s going to happen organically. He’s getting after every workout.”
