Top 25 MMA Fighters of All Time

The UFC and mixed martial arts have come a long way since the debut in 1993.

In 2017, the UFC had a record year, racking up nearly $700 million dollars in overall sales. The numbers for 2018 aren’t available yet, but we know UFC 229 Khabib vs McGregor brought in about $200 million dollars alone. As the star power in MMA is increasing, so is the revenue. Dana White has stacked deck to work with these days; every weight class is loaded with talent.

We owe it to the pioneers of mixed martial arts such as Fedor Emelianenko, Anderson Silva, and Randy Couture for bringing this sport to prominence. Fans have been blessed to witness champion fighters emerge with various combat strengths, styles, and skillsets. Heavy hitters like Dan Henderson can put the best in the business to sleep with a jaw crushing overhand right, while diverse and well-rounded fighters such as Demetrious Johnson will tactically pick an opponent apart, uncover then expose their weaknesses through 5 rounds.

This decade has transcended MMA to new heights. Conor McGregor has captured global attention with his elite and fluid combat; not to mention his wild personality and mega million record shattering fight against Floyd Mayweather. Also, we’ve seen the rise of talent in the UFC with the likes of Jon Jones dominating the competition effortlessly with an arsenal consisting of first-class wrestling and fierce striking.

A plethora of champions have carved their name in the history of MMA, but only a fraction of them will be recognized among the supreme. While its difficult to narrow down the best of the best, after weighing in win to lose ratios, title victories & defenses, finishing wins, and strength of competition we have determined these 25 fighters to be the greatest.

Here are the Top 25 MMA Fighters of All Time.
