Top 20 Highest Verticals in NBA History

6. Spud Webb – 46″

Spud Webb was most known for winning the 1986 Slam Dunk Contest, despite standing at just five-foot-seven. Webb was the first of the short dunkers to prove that they could beat bigger guys above the rim.

Webb beat his teammate and famed dunk-legend Dominique Wilkins in the 1986 contest, to the shock and awe of everyone watching. Webb later coached Nate Robinson to win his first Slam Dunk Contest and the pair are only players in NBA history to win the event at less than six foot tall.
