14. Chloe Kim Dominates the Halfpipe at the Winter Olympics
America got a new darling at this year’s Winter Olympics as Chloe Kim took home the gold medal in the Women’s Halfpipe Finals. Kim’s score for her last run was almost perfect at 98.25 and she finished nearly 10 points ahead of the second-place finisher.
At just 17 years old, Kim became the youngest woman to ever win gold in that event and was also the youngest to ever land two 1080-degree spins in a row.
