The U.S. Women’s Cross-Country Skiing team won a gold medal in this year’s Winter Olympics, which was still the greatest performance that our country has ever had in that event.

Kikkan Randle and Jessica Diggins were the duo that brought America its first ever gold medal in the event, as they finished with a time of 15:56:47 which was nearly two-tenths of a second better than Norway.
