Top 20 Best Shooting Guards in NBA History

6. Clyde Drexler

Known by the nickname “Clyde the Glide”, Clyde Drexler was a 10-time all-star and one of the best players we have ever seen. Drexler played the first 12 years of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers before being traded to the Houston Rockets in the middle of the 1994-95 season. Drexler requested the trade from Portland, as he wanted to play for a contender, and the Trail Blazers honored his wish by sending him to his hometown team. Drexler, along with incumbent star center Hakeem Olajuwon, led the Rockets to an NBA championship that year. Drexler’s No. 22 was retired by both the Trail Blazers and the Rockets.
